Lauren’s journalism career commenced in Central Texas. While she was working at KWTX, she reported on the Fort Hood shooting in 2009 that killed 13 people. Furthermore, Lauren reported on flooding and participated in the yearly Food for Families drive, an occasion that stays significant to her.
