After Krithi portrayed a short role in the Hindi film Super 30, she portrayed a leading role at the age of 17 in the Telugu film Uppena. The film’s producer was Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings and the director was Buchi Babu Sana. The movie collected over ₹100 crore (US$13 million) and was commercially successful at the box office. It was noted that the debutants Krithi and Vaisshnav manage to pull off the intricacies of their roles well for the most part by The Times of India‘s Neeshitha Nyayapati reviewing her performance.
She portrayed a role in the Telugu film Shyam Singha Roy alongside Nani in 2021. She played a role in the bilingual movie The Warrior in 2022 together with Ram Pothineni which was directed by N. Lingusamy. She only shot her portions in Telugu. The movie was a big commercial failure and received negative reviews from critics. Later that year, she portrayed a role in the Telugu movie Macherla Niyojakavarga which was directed by M. S. Rajashekhar Reddy.
Krithi portrayed a role co-starring Sudheer Babu in Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali in 2022 and it was directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti. Her first Tamil-language film is Venkat Prabhu’s bilingual Custody (2023) starring Naga Chaitanya. Due to her performance in Uppena, she was awarded Filmfare Awards South for Best Actress – Telugu and Best Female Debut – South in 2022. Also, in 2022 she was awarded the South Indian International Movie Awards for Best Female Debut – Telugu.
